This story takes place in Amish country and the vivid descriptions of Amish life, the characters, and the clash of cultures drew me in from the beginning of this book.Įllie, a high-powered Philadelphia defense attorney, in a dead-end eight year relationship, finds herself dissatisfied with her life, and leaves town to visit her Aunt Leda: And unlike some of her most recent books, ( Handle With Care in particular), you don’t feel like you were kicked in the gut when you’re finished.
